Diary of a Black Woman Podcast (DOBW)

Mission & What’s Ahead

Our Mission

The Diary of a Black Woman Podcast exists to create a sacred space where faith, truth, and lived experience intersect. Our mission is to reclaim spiritual clarity in a noisy world by centering Jesus Christ, honoring the work of the Holy Spirit, and encouraging wisdom over tradition, revelation over ritual, and obedience over appearance.

DOBW is not driven by trends or performance. It is a place for honest conversations, biblical teaching, and Spirit-led reflection that challenge listeners to see Scripture clearly, live intentionally, and walk filled—not empty. Through devotionals, teaching episodes, and prophetic insight, we invite listeners to move beyond surface-level faith into deeper understanding, healing, and spiritual authority.

This platform exists to remind women—and all who listen—that oil still flows, wisdom still calls, and God still speaks. Our purpose is not to entertain, but to equip—helping believers recognize who Jesus is now, discern truth in every season, and live grounded, Spirit-filled lives in a world that often resists both.

Coming in 2026

In 2026, the Diary of a Black Woman will expand beyond the podcast to include regular blog content and monthly devotionals designed to support deeper study, reflection, and spiritual growth.

These blogs will explore faith, wisdom, healing, and spiritual clarity, building on themes introduced in the podcast and offering written reflections that can be revisited throughout the week. The goal is to provide thoughtful, Scripture-centered content that encourages consistency, discernment, and spiritual maturity.

Listeners and readers will also receive monthly devotionals, including guided scripture readings, reflection prompts, prayers, and declarations to help cultivate a steady devotional rhythm throughout the year.

More details on access, release schedules, and availability will be shared soon.

Stay connected.
Something meaningful is being built.

About the Author

Connie Morris is the creator and host of the Diary of a Black Woman Podcast and The Morris Perspective Podcast. She is a faith-centered teacher, writer, and speaker who brings lived experience, biblical insight, and spiritual discernment into honest conversations about faith, identity, healing, and wisdom.

Connie’s work is rooted in a commitment to Scripture, a deep respect for the Holy Spirit, and a belief that spiritual maturity requires both truth and reflection. Her approach is thoughtful rather than performative, grounded rather than sensational, and focused on helping listeners see Jesus clearly—not as tradition presents Him, but as Scripture reveals Him.
