2006: The Shaking:Ep. 3: What God Is Removing in 5786

1:01 Hello and welcome back to the Diary of a Black Woman podcast. I'm your host Connie Morris and we're at episode three, The Shaking, What God is Removing and What Will Remain. This is part of our 2026 series, The Year When Heaven and Earth Intersects. Today we're talking about one of the most pivotal prophetic messages for the year ahead, The Shaking, What God is Removing and What Will remain. Whether you sense it spiritually or see it in the world around you, the shaking has already begun. But in 2026, according to the Hebrew year 5786, the shaking will intensify, purify, and clarify.

1:45 This episode will help you understand why God shakes things, what he is removing, what he is establishing, and how to stand firm when everything around you shakes. So let's go deeper, the Hebrew year 5786 and the shaking. In the Hebrew imagery, 5786 symbolizes a boundary line being struck. A threshold is crossed, a border between the old and the new, a divine shaking that separates the temporary from the eternal, and a sifting that aligns earth with heaven. 5-7-8-6 is a line in the sand year.

2:29 A year where God says, everything built on sand must fall. Only what is rooted in me will remain. This is not punishment. This is preparation. I love when God says, anything built on sand, this is a line in a sand year. And so when you think about sand, we know sand is shifty and shady, right? And so pay attention to the wording. So why does God shake things? Scripture gives us a clear reason why shaking comes. Number one, to remove what is false. Human systems, six motives, lukewarm faith. So anything about you that is faking and shaking or anybody around you that's not really ready for what God has for you, they will be removed.

3:17 Number two, to expose what is hidden, darkness, deception. And corruption. We have been hearing a lot of things about underground tunnels and child trafficking and kidnapping and a lot of things that the stars were doing. We're finally starting to hear more about the Epstein case and P. Diddy case is just finished, but there's so much more. Some churches have fallen, some hidden things in the church has been exposed. People's lives have been changed because of what they're hiding in the closet. Police officers, governors, mayors, You know, a lot of things are being exposed. So like I said earlier, the shaking hasn't just, well, just start.

3:59 It's shaking. It's been shaking for a while. Earthquakes, floods, storms, things are being exposed. Number three, why does God shake things? To refine what is real. Gold is proven in fire and faith is proven in storms. Number four, to elevate the remnant. Those who trust God in silence will shine in the shaking. You know, it reminds me of a time where we always think the quiet people, you know, we look around and go like, this girl is quiet. And you don't, and nah, nothing fancy about this person or even this guy. They kind of sit in the corner, they sit away.

4:39 But yet when the anointing is flowing in the church, they seem to have a prophetic word that God steers into them. And so when God begins to refine us, don't be taken back if you are asked to speak. Things are going to make you uncomfortable this year. And that's for me too. The time is coming where our comfort zone is not going to matter to God because there's some people that God wants to rescue from the darkness and he is going to choose us to do it. The remnant, The remnant To elevate the remnant Those who trusted God in silence will shine in the shaking. And then finally, five, to create alignment, he shakes to bring his people into spiritual position.

5:25 God does not shake to destroy. His people. He shakes to reveal his people. So if you're out of line or you don't know what line you're supposed to be in, God is a God that will shake you right into your alignment. Let's look at some scripture. Hebrews 12, 26 to 27. It says, yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also the heavens. Why? So that what cannot be shaken may remain. This is a biblical foundation for Hebrews 5, 7, 8, 6. Haggai 2, verses 6-7, once more I will shake heavens and the earth, and the glory of the latter house shall be greater.

6:08 Shaking precedes greater glory. Psalm 62, 6, he alone is my rock. I will not be shaken. Shaking reveals who is rooted in Christ and who is not. And the last scripture is Matthew 7, 24 to 27. Only the house built on the rock stands in the storm. The shaking shows which foundation you built your life on. So a lot of revealing in 2026. Let's see what else he's doing. What is God removing in 2026? According to this prophetic theme in Hebrew meaning of 5786, God is removing false alliances.

6:54 Relationships God never approved, assignments God never authored, connections God never ordained. Number two, corrupt systems and hidden agendas, governmental. Corporate, and even church structures that serve man instead of God. Religious performance number three, lukewarm Christianity. I think we mentioned that in almost every episode up to date. Up to date. Lukewarm Christianity, God says in Revelation, I will vomit you out. Shallow faith, empty rituals, people honor God with their lips, but not with their lives.

7:35 Personal idols, anything that competes with God's lordship in your life, that's going to be shaken. Delayed obedience, God will deal with procrastination, hesitation, and fear-based obedience. And number six, he is awakening spiritual sensitivity, sharpening discernment, and separating the true sheep from the goats. And number seven, the old season. Whatever you refuse to let go of, God will shake it out of your hands. Wow. So what is God removing in 2026? False alliances, corrupt systems and hidden agendas, religious performance, personal idols.

8:17 Delayed obedience, spiritual dullness, and old seasons. He said he will shake it out of your hand. What will remain after all this shaking? God always shakes with purpose, and what remains after the shaking is pure, strong, and unshakable. So what can we expect after this shaking? The remnant. Those who live differently, those who obey quietly, those who worshiped in the wilderness, they will rise in 2026. Is that you? That's definitely me. Authentic faith. Shaking exposes fake faith, but strengthens real faith.

9:00 How do you know your faith is fake? You know, a lot of times people talk the talk, but don't walk the walk, right? When's the last time God showed up in your life that you had nothing to do with? Right. Divine assignments. What God has ordained will stand. What man built falls, but what God built stands unbreakable. I love that. Divine assignments. What God has ordained will stand. For covenant relationships, authentic connections will deepen. Superficial ones will collapse. So if you're having trouble with someone or you have friends around you, sometimes people are are very popular and have a lot of people.

9:41 You will find out this year who is your true friends and who are the fake ones. And number five, kingdom identity. Shaking strips false labels and reveals who you really are in God. Kingdom identity. He's calling the sheep forth. Number six, the word of the Lord. Every prophecy given by God will survive the shaking and be fulfilled in its appointed time. And finally, number seven, shaking clears the stage so that man, so that God, not man, receives the spotlight. What will remain? The remnant, authentic faith, divine assignments, covenant relationships, kingdom identity, the word of the Lord, and then the glory of God.

10:30 So how do you stand firm in the shaking? Stay anchored in the word. So if you haven't pulled out your Bible, pull it out, put it on like, you know, you can have audio on your Bible where you can listen to it while you sleep, listen to it while you're clean, get the word of God out there for you, but also spend time reading it. You know, ask the Lord, what's a good topic? I think you can just start with the scriptures in this. In this devotional, but don't just read the scripture, read the whole chapter that pertains to that scripture so you can get a full understanding of it. The Bible says also ask for wisdom. And he said he'll give it to us liberally. So ask for wisdom. Number two, what will stand firm in the shaking? The word of God will stand firm.

11:15 Strengthen your prayer life will stay firm, walking in immediate obedience, not delayed obedience, and keeping your oil filled, praying in the Holy Ghost, staying full of the word, building yourself up on your most holy faith that's found in Jude. I think it's Jude 20. Stay in a secret place. That's your secret place. That's your protection. Psalms 91. Matthew 25 said, keep your oil filled. That means don't be a foolish virgin. Be a wise virgin. Remember, here we go. Discern the voice of God, knowing that you know that that's God, so you don't get it twisted. And disconnect from anything God is shaking loose.

11:56 Like, don't try to hold on. If he's telling you to let it go, let it go. Have that real faith, not the fake faith, right, where you let it go in front of everybody, but yet you still got, you still have it at home, right? You still call them at night, you know. Stay humble, or her. Stay humble, stay teachable, and stay submitted. The shaking is not coming to scare you. It's coming to separate you, to position you, and to elevate you. Let's do a prophetic decree. Father, shake everything in me that's not of you. Remove what must go. Strengthen what must remain. Make me unshakable in 2026.

12:37 Let the shaking purify me, position me, propel me into your purpose. I will not fear the shaking because I am anchored in the unshakable God. Let's pray. Lord, thank you for the holy shaking that's preparing us for your glory. Thank you for aligning us with heaven through the Hebrew year 5786. Remove every false foundation. Expose what needs to be exposed. Strengthen what needs to be, what needs to remain, and make every listener unshakable in Jesus' name.
