Using biblical examples like Moses, Isaiah, the Transfiguration, Stephen, and David, she explains how God reveals identity, authority, gifts, and purpose.
The episode offers practical guidance to stay in the glory—intimacy, holiness, quick obedience, and guarding your atmosphere—followed by decrees and a prayer encouraging listeners to expect supernatural favor, activated destiny, and God's presence in 2026.

10 Welcome to the Diary of a Black Woman podcast, where we pray bold prayers, walk in bold faith, and expect a bold God to show up. I'm your host, Connie Morris, and we open every episode with the same unshakable confidence Jabez had in 1 Chronicles 4.10. Lord, bless me indeed, enlarge my territory, let your hand be with me, keep me from evil, and keep me from causing pain. And the Bible says, God granted his request. So if you're here today, get ready, because we're praying big, believing big, and walking in everything God promised. Let's begin.
01 Hello and welcome back to the Diary of a Black Woman podcast. Welcome to episode 13 of 2026, the year when heaven and earth intersect. I'm your host Connie Morris and today we step into one of the most powerful themes of the entire year, God's glory revealed, what God is unveiling after the shaking. If you have felt the shaking, if you have survived the interruption, If you have endured the pruning and the pressing, then this episode is for you because after the shaking comes the unveiling, the moment where God reveals his glory in you, through you, and around you.
43 If you endure the shaking of 2026. If you endure it, guess what? Then his glory will be revealed in you, through you, and around you. Hebrews year 5, 7, 8, 6, the year of the glory revealed. 5, 7, 8, 6 carries a prophetic symbolism of the veil being lifted, hidden things coming into the light, God revealing what he has been shaping in secret, heaven's exposing destiny and a new face of glory emerging in God's people. It is the year where God says, I am revealing what I formed in the dark.
23 Wow, this is a year of surprises. What has God been doing in the dark that he's going to reveal to you in a supernatural way in the year of 2026? This is not just a glory that surrounds you. This is a glory within you finally breaking forth. The number six in Hebrew, Vav, represents establishing, connecting heaven to earth, divine manifestation, and God's glory resting on humanity. 5786 literally represents a year which heaven and earth connect to manifest glory. This is a year of unveiling. I just want to say this is a year we've been waiting for with great anticipation, with great anticipation.
12 What is a glory reveal? Biblically, glory represents God's presence, God's weight, God's character. Is when heaven touches earth, divine radiance, supernatural evidence, the God dimension breaking into the natural. When God reveals his glory, the hidden becomes clear, waiting becomes manifestation, the promise becomes reality. This is not church hype. This is not emotionalism. This is God revealing himself. What are the biblical patterns of glory revealed when God shows his glory?
53 And I was just thinking this writer read this. It says, Moses, the glory changes your face. Moses was the one that I remember because he said, Lord, show me your glory. Exodus 34, show me your glory. We also know the character of Moses because he was always climbing a mountain to see God. God always came to see him. He had a special relationship with him. He met him at the burning bush and he was a leader of the Israelites, the children of Israel. And yet there was always these divine moments where God shows up for Moses. You have to read the book of Exodus.
34 God fought for Moses. He even fought for Moses when his sister and brother was telling him that he shouldn't marry the dark-skinned lady. I mean, God stood and said, no, you do not mess with Moses because he had a relationship with him. He was different. Moses was different. You know, we study all the Bible characters, but Moses was a different character. He was because he thirsts after God. He did. He wanted to do right, but he was leading people who wanted to do wrong. And so. He went in ordinary and he came out glowing. Every time Moses spent time with God, and he didn't spend like an hour or two, he would go up to the mountain and spend 40 days with God.
20 40 days just talking with God and God talking to him. Isaiah, the glory that transformed your assignment. Isaiah 6, he says, in the year King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord. Moses saw the Lord. Isaiah saw the Lord. Isaiah, it says loss trigger revelation, revelation, birth, and assignment. At some point of Isaiah's reign, he, the year that King Uzziah died, that was a marking of his life. He said when he died, he said, I saw the Lord. Something happened in Uzziah's life that opened up the curtain so that he could see God.
02 We see here that Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration, The people that he took, remember he took this Peter, I can't think of all those two more he took. He only took a few of his close friends with him. I think John 2 went up to the Transfiguration Mountain. Heaven opened, glory descended, identity was revealed. Only a few people, close friends with Jesus, had an opportunity to see him in his glorified state. They saw Jesus in his glorified state. You know that changed their life, right? The early church, what happened with the early church when glory entered the room? Glory that filled the room, they began to speak in other tongues.
43 That wasn't hype, that was heaven intersecting earth. They had a real experience. Of the Holy Ghost fire, Holy Ghost wind, and Holy Ghost tongues found in Acts 2. Stephen, glory revealed in his suffering. Stephen was martyred. They stoned him to death. But if you read Acts 7, you'll see that even he was stoned to death, but he preached Jesus. And then as he was dying, he looked up and he saw Jesus standing in the heavens. And he said that out loud. And then when he said that, I see Jesus standing, they began to natch him with their teeth.
26 That was, that was, isn't that like wrong? But they, that bothered them so much that even in death, Stephan, they couldn't stop Stephan from talking about Jesus. And then David, the glory through worship. David wrote pretty much most of the Psalms, but Psalms 27, he says this, one thing I have desired to behold the beauty of the Lord. So David actually had an opportunity. Remember, the Bible says that the Lord said David is like he seeks after his heart. David was a heart seeker of God. And so when you are doing either one of these things with being Moses, Isaiah, Jesus, the early church, Stephan and David, they were concealed glory seekers.
15 They desired the glory of God more than anything. And when they did, they had the opportunity to see God. Shouldn't that be our hunger for 2026? To have God, I don't want God to show up and I hear that someone else had an experience and I missed it. I want to be, I want to see the glory of God. I want to have the experience with God, not to brag, not to boast, but hey, I just want to see him. I want to see his glory. I want to see all that he has for 2026. I want, I have a hunger to just go deeper with the Lord. So what is God revealing to you in 2026?
59 He wants you to know who you are, your true spiritual identity. The shaking strips away false labels. Now the glory reveals who you really are. Having an encounter with God from the characters that we just read, those are real people, right? They had an experience with God and a life changed. Jesus was able, after his transfiguration, was able to die on the cross. And if you saw the movie Passion, if you even read the Bible in different translation, you can see that that was a horrible, horrible death. But yet he was able to stay alive through all the things that he went through, died on and then go on the cross and finish what he started.
42 He said it's finished. They didn't kill him. He gave his breath. The Lord said, Lord, he told his father, I'm ready now. He said it's finished. And he was done. He won. And then he went to sleep. And three days later, he arose again. That changed his spiritual identity, didn't it? He went from heaven to earth, back to heaven. Wow. Hidden strength. You survived what tried to break you. Now the strength becomes visible. Many of us, we even fight and we wake up and we like, do we still got to fight today? We are like the Muhammad Ali of 2025. But God's going to reveal to us.
23 Our strength, our hidden strength. What made us so strong? Your spiritual authority. Shaking sharpens your sword. Glory reveals your power. You're going to walk in your authority. You're going to walk in your purpose. Assignment becomes cleared. Destiny becomes undeniable. You're going to, your voice, this year your voice will carry weight. Your gifts, things dormant in you will activate spontaneously. Oh, wow. Isn't that something? Your gifts will make room for you. Wow, your discernment. You will see what you used to overlook. God's presence in your life. People will sense the glory on you. Isn't that what we want? God revealing.
04 What is God revealing in 2026? Let's just go back through this. Your true spiritual identity, strength, your spiritual authority. Your purpose, your voice, your gifts, your discernment, and God's presence in your life. What is God revealing around you? You got your discernment, So he's going to show you some things that are around you. He's going to show you hidden motives. He's going to expose people's hearts. Divine connections. You're going to find your tribe. That's powerful because I'm a loner, but sometimes I need some friends, right? Favor in unusual places. Doors will open without effort. The enemy strategy. He's going to show you that. Miracles and divine interventions.
47 God is stepping into the natural situation. How about this one? How do you know signs of glory, of God's glory about to break forth? Remember, we walk with God so much that sometimes what we think is like a normal, people go, that's abnormal that you pray that much, that long, or that you get up that early, or that you fast that much. You know, you don't talk about your fasting or anything, but when you just do things that your normal thing does, like your normal way of having intimacy with God, we do. As intercessors and as believers, we do it so often. We do it like automatically. But God says, this is how you're going to know the glory of God is about to break forth.
31 It's when people say there's something different about you. You think nothing's changed because you're doing your regular routine. But people will say something different about you. You'll have a new confidence and clarity. Your worship will feel deeper. Your dreams and your vision will intensify. You will sense spiritual activity all around you. You will notice supernatural alignment. You feel God pulling you forward and you'll feel lighter, clearer, and stronger. Glory is not emotional. Glory is transformational. So what do you do to walk in this glory? So far, you should have been doing it already, but let's do some self-check, right?
12 We want to make sure we stay in this glory because it's going to be good, good year. You want to keep your heart clean, you know, so don't get when people say there's something different about you or you notice that, you know, you're laying hands on the sick and they're recovering or you see a miracle come before you or you see, start seeing angels. You start opening up your spiritual sight. Don't you get big headed. Don't start a podcast about it. Just walk in it unless he tells you to. So you want to keep your heart clean, keep your eyes clean, your ears clean. You want to always keep everything clear and clean. You want to stay in a secret place. It's born out of intimacy, so you have to stay in intimacy.
53 You just don't get the glory and see signs, wonders, and miracles and then go run back out into them streets. That's kind of like in quotes, you know, people get the glory and then all of a sudden, they'll just want to, they want to start something without God's blessing. When it's God who's putting his glory on you. Remember Peter's shadow healed. It wasn't Peter's shadow. It was a Holy Ghost shadow upon Peter. Let's not get that twisted. So when we understand where that power and that glory comes from, we're not going to run out ahead of him. Okay. Continue to obey quickly. Do not start to be delayed obedience because as you're walking in that glory, he's going to have you do things you've never done before.
33 Go places you've never been before. Say some things you never said before. Don't you hesitate. Be obedient immediately. Obey immediately. Number four, guard your atmosphere. You know, glory lives where strife lives. Any chaos and confusion, that's going to interrupt what the glory is doing. So you have to protect yourself. Like if things are happening around you, you just slowly slide out of it. You don't need to be a witness to drama, right? Don't bring drama into your life. Guard your atmosphere. Let go of glory thieves, the people that drain your oil. You know who they are. They don't really want to, they want to ask you a question, but then they don't want to pay it. They don't want to do what they ask. You know what I just said?
20 Well, how did you get this way? Or what is God doing in your life? As soon as you start to explain it, they lose interest. That's wasted oil. So you know what? Go read your Bible. I'm sorry. I would love to talk to you but right now I don't have the time. Let's set up an appointment. Most of the time they won't set up an appointment. They want an instant answer right there. They don't want you to pour into them. They just want to kind of find what is the shortcut to get what you did. Because they're going to listen to you and then they're going to try to find a shortcut around that you spent time with the Lord and how you did it. You know, they don't want to hear your story. They want to listen to it and say, okay, she did that in three years. I'm going to try to do it in three months or three days. Right? Let go of those glory thieves. Worship without reservation.
03 Walk in holiness. Walk in holiness. Holiness is the magnet for the glory. And worship, glory rests on worshippers. So be a worshipper and also understand and walk in holiness. And if I were you, I would study out what is holiness, Lord, so that you don't miss it. Walk in holiness. Keep your body pure. Keep your eyes, your ears, even your nose. Because sometimes people get to smoking marijuana everywhere. You're like, oh, I don't want my holiness. I'm like, I had to get out of here, right? Because they're smoking it everywhere, you know? Because it's not everywhere. Nebraska hasn't made it quite legal yet. But hello, you can smell it on people, even if it's illegal, right? All right, let's just do our decrees. Repeat after me.
50 This is my year for glory unveiled. What God placed inside me is coming forth. Every hidden gift is emerging. Every spiritual muscle is strengthening. My identity is shining. My purpose is activating. My voice is rising. The glory of God is resting upon me. Let's pray. Father, we build your glory in my life. Unveil what you placed on the inside of me. Reveal my true identity, my true purpose, my gifts, and my destiny. Let your presence shine through me. Let your glory transform me. Let heaven rest on my life. Prepare me for what you are revealing next. In Jesus' name, amen.
33 Episode 14, we're going to cover the divine separation. Why is God pulling you away before 2026? I'll see you on the next episode. Family, thank you for spending this time with me today. To every woman listening who has ever felt hidden, overlooked, or pushed aside, I want you to hear me clearly. God has not forgotten you, and neither have I. That's why I moved everything to our new home on pod page, so you would have one place to connect with me, read the devotionals, listen to the podcast, and reach out whenever you need to.

Before we leave, I want to speak the word that I close with every time because somebody needs this reminder today. It comes from Jeremiah 29 11 14. I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future, then you will call upon me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
03 I will be found by you, declares the Lord. Beloved, God has a plan for your life, a real one, a good one. And as long as you keep seeking him, you will find him even from the hidden places. I love you. I'm praying for you, and I'll meet you next time.
