2026: The Glory & the Remnant: Ep.5: What God Is Raising Up in 2026

1:00 Welcome back to the Diary of a Black Woman podcast. I'm your host, Connie Morris, and we're on episode five, The Glory and the Remnant, What God is Raising Up in 2026. This is part of our 2026 series, The Year When Heaven and Earth Intersects. And so we talked about the shaking, we talked about the crossing, but today we're going to step into one of the most powerful prophetic themes for 2026, the glory and the remnant, what God is raising up in 2026. This is not a year where everyone will rise, but it's a year where the remnant, those who remain faithful, steadfast and obedient, will be lifted, distinguished, distinguished and filled with glory.

1:49 As heaven and earth intersect, God reveals his people and his glory in a way that the world cannot ignore. Let's take a pause here. We see here that this is a year where everyone, not everyone will rise. So God is fair. He's a just guy. Is the God of justice. And he's telling us already right now that everyone's not going to be able to handle his glory. Everybody is not going to be able to rise. But he said, if you're faithful, steadfast, obedient, you will be lifted up, distinguished, and filled with his glory. God has something for the faithful, something for those who are steadfast, and something for those who are obedient. So what does this look like in Hebrew year 5, 7, 8, 6, the rise of the remnant?

2:34 In Hebrew imagery, 5, 7, 8, 6 is the year of a boundary is being drawn, a separation, a clear distinction, a setting apart, a dividing of light and darkness. It's a moment when God highlights who truly belongs to him. This is a year where God says, my remnant will rise with my glory. The remnant is not the crowd. It's not the commitment. It's the one who endures shaking without breaking. Who crossed without looking back, who obeyed without excuses, who worshiped without applause, and who trusted God in the quiet place.

3:15 5786 is a year God puts his spotlight. On them. Let's pause here. God says, you know, you've been going through a lot. Things have been hard, but he says this year, my remnant will rise with my glory. This year, God is going to put his spotlight on the faithful, the steadfast. This year, God is calling out his remnant. In scripture, the remnant refers to the preserved, the protected, the purified, the one who refused to compromise. The one who stayed with God when others drifted, the ones who carried faith through fire, the ones who remain rooted when everything around them shook.

3:58 The remnant is small in number, but mighty in spirit. They are the ones God uses when he is ready to shift a nation. I love that. So it seems to me, I just got this feeling of God has a list and he's checking it twice, right? And he's getting ready to check it. And his final checklist is in 2026. So when the clock strikes at midnight, he's already has the list already prepared. Are you ready? Are you ready to be chosen by God? Are you ready to be spotlighted by him? Are you ready to understand that all that you've been through, however long it's been, that is now your time to shine. Let's go to Isaiah 60 verses 1 and 2, aligning the remnant and glory.

4:43 Isaiah 60 verses 1 and 2, it says, Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. While darkness covers the earth, the remnant will rise. Haggai chapter 2 verse 9, the glory of the latter house should be greater than the former. This is the prophetic promise for 2026. Excuse me, the greater glory. And then we have Romans 9, 27 and Romans 11, 5. A remnant shall be saved. There is a remnant chosen by grace. Like God's not asking for perfection. He's asking for obedience.

5:24 God always preserve a people for himself. So 2, 28 through 29. So I will pour out my spirit on all flesh. The remnant receives the outpouring first. Let's go to Malachi 3, 16-18. God writes a book of remembrance for those who fear him. Then he makes a distinction between the, and the wicked. This is 5, 7, 8, 6. God makes the remnant visible. So let's ask God, like what God, what is God raising up in 2026? And you can check your list. You can check it twice, seeing if you want it and see what you need to do. Repentance is always good to get right on track with God, to be ready when that clock strikes midnight that you are on the list.

6:12 Number one, a people of glory, not church as usual, not religion, but a people who carries God's presence. That's who he's looking for. Who else is he raising up? A people of boldness. They will speak truth and love. They will not bow to fear, culture, or compromise. A people of discernment, able to see through spiritual deception, able to hear God clearly, able to move when he moves. A people of authority, not timid, not uncertain. These are believers who know who they are and whose they are. A people who demonstrates the kingdom, signs, wonders, wisdom, revelation, and supernatural direction.

6:58 A people who walk in holiness, set apart, consecrated, obedient, rooted in God's word. And number seven, a people who will rebuild. God is raising up remnant leaders who will rebuild families, communities, churches, systems, structures, and even nations. Just like Nehemiah, the remnant becomes God's repairer of the breach. Let's talk about the glory dimension of 20 When heaven intersects earth, glory is released. Glory in scripture represents God's weight, God's presence, God's reality.

7:38 God's authority, God's supernatural intervention. In 2026, the glory will expose darkness, elevate the faithful, empower the remnant, transform lives, break strongholds, bring divine acceleration, and shift atmosphere. Glory is not an emotion. It is a divine force. Where religious activity fails, glory secedes. The distinction of 5786. This Hebrew year 5786 will visibly separate the committed from the casual, the holy from the profane, the obedience from the disobedient, the sheep from the goats, the truthful from the deceptive and the spiritual from the religious.

8:25 The remnant will not blend in, they will stand out. Now everybody always wants to be on the winning team, right? So how do we get situated as a remnant to be on the winning team? To make sure that line in the sand that God is writing out, that line in the sand that you're on the right side. Number one, he tells us to stay consecrated. Choose purity, choose righteousness, and choose holiness. I am going detail on that. You know exactly what I'm talking about. Number two, stay prayer-filled. Your authority is tied to your altar. Get a prayer life. Keep your prayer life. Increase your prayer life. Number three, stay obedient.

9:06 God will quickly elevate those who obey. Number four, stay surrendered. Let him remove, reshape, and redirect. Number five, stay humble. Glory rests in humility. Number six, stay discerning. Know what God is and what it is not. Ooh, know what God is and what he is not. Number seven, but stay present with God. The remnant is formed in the secret place. How do you position yourself as a remnant? You stay consecrated, stay prayer-filled, stay obedient, stay surrendered. Stay humble, stay discerning, stay present with God.

9:48 A remnant is formed. The remnant is formed in a secret place. You know, like the foolish and the wise virgins, even though they probably both knew God, one was prepared, one wasn't. But at the end, when one wasn't ready, he left them. He said, I do not know you. So there is a time when that door will close and if you don't have it right and you don't have it tight, you will miss out. Not last minute, like the foolish virgins, prepared. People think God's coming on your timetable. You better have enough oil in case he is delayed. Amen. In case he is delayed, don't get lazy before he shows up and you miss out on what he has called you to do or what he has for you also.

10:34 So let's do the prophetic decree. Say this with me. Father, I choose to be part of the remnant. I choose holiness. I choose obedience. I choose your glory. Mark me with your presence. Set me apart for your purpose. Let your glory rise upon my life in 2026. Make me a carrier of your light, your truth, and your power. In Jesus' name, amen. Let's pray. Lord, thank you for the remnant. You are raising up in the Hebrew year 5786. Strengthen every listener to become a vessel of your glory. Purify us, prepare us, and position us. Let your glory rest upon us in a way we have never seen.
