2026: The Oil: Ep 9: Stay Ready — Don't Enter 2026 Empty

1:01 Welcome back to episode 9 of 2026, the year when heaven and earth intersects. I'm your host, Connie Morris. Today's topic will be the oil of readiness, staying filled in a year of shaking. In this episode, we step into one of the most urgent prophetic messages for 5786, the message of readiness, oil, and spiritual preparation. Because in 2026, as heaven and earth collide, shaking increases, as separation deepens, only those who are filled will stand. This episode is a prophetic call to keep your spiritual lamps burning.

1:45 This comes from the parable of the 10 virgins, the blueprint for 2026. In Matthew 25, Jesus describes 10 virgins who were waiting for the bridegroom. All 10 were believers, expecting Jesus, position, waiting, church people aware of the prophecy, and they appeared to be ready on the surface. But the difference between who entered and who did not came down to one thing, the oil. Five were wise, they carried extra oil. Five were foolish, they carried none. When the shaking came, when the midnight cry sounded, when the heavens, when heaven intersected earth, only those who were filled made it through the door.

2:33 This is the prophetic warning for 2026. Do not enter this year empty. So as you know, I've already set you up for success. I've already given you the tools to be able to, where are you? Are you ready for 2026? It says, do not enter this year empty. So be prepared. Are you, this is the opportunity. So we're kind of through almost nine episodes. This is our ninth episode. So by now you should have been getting ready. What is God doing? Praying more, you know, fasting, getting into that flow. So you won't miss God in 5, 7, 8, 6.

3:15 So why does the oil matter now? 5, 7, 8, 6 is the Hebrew year of the boundary. Separation, divine distinction, shaking, alignment, glory, fully divide between the prepared and the unprepared. Everything in the prophetic meaning of this year matches everything. Matthew 25. 5786 is a year God makes visible, who has oil, who is spiritually asleep, who is truly ready, and who is leaning on yesterday's fire. You cannot borrow oil in 2026. You cannot fake readiness in 2026.

3:58 You cannot survive on yesterday's faith in 2026. This is a year where only the field will flourish. Let's go to Matthew 25, 5. They all grew drowsy and fell asleep. So everybody went to sleep. Even the wise faced weariness. But the difference was they were filled before the shaking. Nothing wrong with sleeping. Nothing wrong with resting. Nothing wrong with being weary. But what's wrong is if you're not prepared, you know you're tired And so you better pray and get you some sleep and get ready for what God has for you. Stay ready so you don't have to get ready, right? Matthew 25, 6, it says at midnight, the cry rang out.

4:43 Midnight represents pressure, chaos, position, and shaking. The cry is a prophetic alert. Heaven is shifting. Prepare yourself. At midnight, the cry rang out. What was the cry? The cry was that the bridegroom is coming. The bridegroom is coming. We know biblically that Jesus is coming and he's coming at a twinkle of eye. That means in like microseconds, he's going to boom, be here. And so this practice for 2026 allow you to stay ready for when Jesus come. So you don't have to get ready, right? So heaven is shifting. Why is heaven shifting? We've been living a long time on this earth.

5:25 Jesus said he will come back. is starting to become that season of his return. So as we prepare for 2026, we need to stay ready. For Jesus because he is due any minute now. You can say any second, twinkling of a second now. Let's go to Matthew 25, 8. It says, give us some of your oil. How many people who don't prepare for emergencies always want what you already prepared for? This is a year where you cannot depend on your pastor's fire, your friend's anointing, your spouse's walk, your leader's devotion. You must have your own oil.

6:05 Matthew 25, 10. Those who were ready went in with him. Readiness is the dividing line for 5, 7, 8, 6. Are you ready? Are you truly, truly, truly ready for 2026? I'm sending you the information. I'm podcasting it. These episodes are a little bit longer than how they normally are because God has a lot to say about your readiness. And so as you go through the podcast, write down the scriptures and start getting ready for 2026. When we talk about the oil, typically oil represents Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit, intimacy with God, your prayer life, consecration, sermon, obedience, fresh fire, devotion, and spiritual sensitivity, holiness, and a guarded heart. That's what the oil represents.

6:56 Your oil tank is a condition of your inner life. In 2026, your inner life is your survival. So you can look ready on the outside, but if you're not ready on the inside, you are not going to make it through 2026. Successfully. Not saying people are going to die, but hey, this world is going crazy. So who knows? But so you want to stay filled with oil. I want to go through that oil list again. The Holy Spirit, constant contact with the Holy Spirit, intimacy with God, Psalm 91. You're dwelling in that secret place. Your prayer life, prayer life is communication. It's a two-way street. So you're paying attention to what God is saying.

7:38 You know, consecration. You can't hang with your friends all year. You need to consecrate. You can't be filled up with oil if you are still trying to do two things, right? You're multitasking, trying to spread yourself really thin. You're going to lose a lot of oil. You're. Obedience. Fresh fire. How do you know you got some fresh fire? Just like Elijah prayed that the Lord would send fire and he did. So you can pray for some fire in your life. Lord, give me fresh fire. Fire comes from where? His mouth. Elijah spoke it and he had God's ears and God gave it to him right away.

8:18 He didn't have to wait three days, four days. He got his prayer answered right away. Spiritual sensitivity, knowing when to pray, knowing how long to pray, knowing who's draining your oil when you're around them, right? Holiness. You can't be fornicating, adulterating. You can't be doing homosexuality, lesbianism. God wants you holy. He wants you all to himself and a guarded heart. Remember, our heart flows the issue of life. So whatever we put in our life, it's going to flow out. We want to protect that. What drains your oil this season? I think I got ahead of myself. What drains your oil this season?

9:00 Emotional exhaustion. Let me get a drink of water. Emotional exhaustion, trying to solve everybody's problems. Pray for them and move on because this is a year you need to consecrate and tell them what you're doing. Say, you can join in. This is what we're doing, but I don't got time to be holding your hand this year. I'm sorry. Maybe I get you in 2027, but right now, I don't have time. Busyness without intimacy. We always can be busy, right? But set your alarm clock, set your time, set a schedule so that you can spend some quality time with God. Compromise, dabbling in darkness, prayerlessness, distraction, social media overload, delete the app, old wounds left untreated, inconsistent devotion, wrong relationships, spiritual laziness, and trusting in yourself more than you're doing with God. Or at least when you live in two, worlds. Wow. Oil leaks when you live in two worlds.

9:59 Hypocrisy is two worlds, right? 5786 demands spiritual clarity and purity. Let's go over, whoa, I didn't know I had that many, 10 steps on how to keep your oil full in 2026. Number one, stay in the secret place. Don't just visit there. The Bible tells us to abide there. It means make it your residence that you stay in a secret place, according to Psalms 91. It isn't optional. It is a lifeline. Number two, pray daily. Consistency over intensity. Some people will say, I'm going to pray three hours today, and they barely get up and do five minutes. Pray every day for maybe 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour, whatever your time is. But do it consistency.

10:45 Consistency is the plan. Fast regularly. Fast and sharpens your spiritual ear. Four, saturate yourself with scripture. Your spirit needs food. Guard your eyes and ears. You cannot be filled yourself with darkness and carry light. You know, every time you try to watch something, on YouTube or try to do a little scrolling. It's always someone has to use foul language. You don't want that. That's not going to help you when it's time to pray down some fire because you're going to need it for 2026. So guard your ears and your eyes. Break ties with draining relationships. People who pull you away from God cannot walk with you in 2026.

11:26 And we've heard this theme throughout the episodes. If you don't do it, God's going to do it. So if you want to break ties and you say, hey, right now I'm doing something different, just tell them the truth. I'm doing something different. I don't think this relationship is healthy for me. I'm going to have to pray some more about it or whatever. Me, I had a time where I had to tell a friend, I said, this is not working. This is not how I thought this relationship would play out. And so we're just call it a day. I'm not going to make a big deal about it. I'm not mad at you. I just don't think this is going to be a healthy relationship. I met this female on the walkway. We were walking, for about, we're doing good. We're walking about every other day.

12:11 It was just really a consistent relationship, but it was no connection as far as a future friendship. You know, when you get older, you know right away if this person is going to be your friend for life or just going to be an associate. And so we put ourselves in an associate box and that was it. I haven't talked to her since, right? Walk in obedience. Oil increases with obedience and leaks through disobedience. So you don't want any leaky oil in 2026. Don't waste your oil. Clean the house of your heart. 5786 exposes what you ignore. So if you don't clean it out, don't get embarrassed because God will clean it out. Surround yourself with fire-filled believers. Oil multiplies in a godly community.

12:56 So find you some godly friends. Worship often. Worship fills what worries empty. So stay full of the oil. I'm just going to go through this real quick just to help you out. So keeping your oil filled in 2026 requires you to stay in a secret place, pray daily, fast regularly, saturate yourself with scripture, guard your eyes and ears, and even your mouth. Your mouth can get you in trouble too. So put that down too. I'm going to add it right here as I am writing it now. Your eyes, ears, and your mouth. Break ties with draining relationships. Walk in obedience, clean the house of your heart, surround yourself with fire-filled believers, and worship often.

13:42 The remnant must remain. Ready. Stay ready so you don't have to get ready. In 2026, your discernment must stay sharp. Your spirit must stay awake. Your heart must stay pure. Your devotion must remain strong. Your oil must stay full because heaven is moving. Heaven is speaking. Heaven is dividing. Heaven is shaking. Heaven is aligning. And the remnant must be ready. Let's do the decrees with me. declare this aloud. Father, fill my lamp with oil. Awaken my spirit. Remove spiritual laziness. Break the distraction of social media.

14:26 Cleanse me from compromise. Make me ready, alert, steady, and full. In 2026, I will not be empty. I will not be foolish. I will be filled, awake, and prepared in Jesus' name. Let's pray. Father, thank you for the call to readiness. Thank you for the oil of the Holy Spirit. Fill us again. Fill us deeper. Fill us until we overflow. Let our listener, let every listener carry oil for the shaking and enough fire for the glory. Keep us awake, alert, and anchor in your presence. In Jesus' name, amen. I'll see you for episode 10.
