2026: The Separation: Ep. 7: The Year God Draws the Divine Line

1:01 Welcome back to Diary of a Black Woman podcast. We are on the series of 2026, the year when heaven and earth intersect. I'm your host, Connie Morris, and we are on episode seven, the separation when God divides light from darkness. In this episode, we will be talking about something that the Lord emphasizes strongly for the Hebrew year, five, seven, eight, six, Something we see all throughout scripture whenever heaven begins to touch earth. The separation. When God divides light from darkness, you cannot have a shaking without separation.

1:43 You cannot have glory without distinction. You cannot have alignment without a dividing line. In 2026, this year will be marked by that dividing line. Hebrew year 5786, the year of the dividing line. Prophetically, 5786 represents a boundary, a border, a spiritual line drawn by God himself, a year when heaven exposes what is truly light and truly darkness, a moment when the gray areas disappear, a season where clarity replaces confusion.

2:24 This is the Genesis one moment when God separated light from darkness. It established order. 5-7-8-6 repeats this spiritual pattern. God is not only shaking, he is separating. Not to punish, but to protect, to purify, to reveal, to elevate, and to repair the remnant for glory. God always separates before he moves. Genesis 1, 3-4. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. Separation is not judgment, it's creation order.

3:04 It is creation's order. Exodus 11, 7, but among the Israelites, not even a dog will bark. God made a clear distinction between Egypt and Israel. We also know that there was a clear distinction with the plagues, a clear distinction where they lived in Goshen and it did not touch them. He protected them. He separated them from what he was doing in Egypt. And this is that year God is going to protect you. Malachi 3.18, then you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked. Matthew 25, the wise versus the foolish versions, the faithful versus the unfaithful, the ready versus the unprepared.

3:50 That's so, where do you fall in? That's a good question. Where do you fall in there? Are you wise or are you foolish? Are you faithful? Are you unfaithful? Are you ready? And are you unprepared? It's a time to get ready. John 10, 27, my sheep hear my voice. Not everyone hears only his voice. Remember, there's two voices speaking. Which voice are you following? He said, my sheep, you're my voice. 2 Corinthians 6, 17, come out from among them and be ye separate. What God separates, he elevates. God is separating in 2026. One, light from darkness, no more blending, no more almost holy, no more gray area, no more lukewarmness.

4:37 Either you in or you're not. 2026 will reveal who truly is walking with God. Truth from deception. Lies will collapse under the weight of God's voice. False teachers. False prophets, and false authorities will reveal. Be exposed. Three, the sheep from the goats. This is Jesus' language, not ours. Obedience will separate the two. Number four, the remnant from the religious. 5, 7, 8, 6 elevates those who have relationship over those who have routines. Authentic from artificial, God separates real worship from performance, real prayer from empty words, real devotion from religious activity. holy from profane.

5:26 What was tolerated in the past seasons will not be tolerated in this one. And finally, number seven, kingdom assignments versus human agendas. He's separating that. Those building God's kingdom will rise. Those building their own will fall. Personal separations God will do in you. 2026 is not just a global separation. It will be personal. God will separate you from old wounds, old cycles, old fears, old connections, old thinking, old identity, old sin patterns, old version of yourself. You are stepping into the fire of refinement and coming out gold.

6:11 Wow. One story I really love is the story of Cinderella. You know, she, her and her evil, wicked stepsisters, they did not like her. They did not want her to meet the prince. But somehow, someway, God made a way for the Cinderella to show up. She loses her slipper, and then she finds her Prince Charming. God is going to do some great things this year. I don't know about the Prince Charming part, but if he's separating you for a purpose and you're designing to be married, hey, use your faith, use your faith. Sends God, signs God is separating you for purpose. There's always signs when God starts to move in your life. Let me know if any of these are...

6:54 Are for you. People are falling away, not out of drama, but divine pruning. If you feel like you're always alone and you're like, I don't have any friends, maybe God is separating you for a purpose. You feel disconnected from old environments. Your spirit has outgrown the space. Especially if you have friends who have your number, because I haven't changed my number, and they call you and they sound all excited, but you're like, this ain't going to work. so you have to block them. You no longer desire compromised places. Your appetite for holiness is increasing. You sense God pulling you into deeper intimacy that he's claiming your attention.

7:34 He wants all of your attention. You're losing tolerance for flesh-driven things. This is what we call spiritual maturity. You're being called to higher standards. Seven, for this 2026 year, elevates the remnant. When you feel like I am know I was created for something else. God is calling you up to a higher standard. You're uncomfortable in places you used to settle. That's so true. Separation always begins with discomfort. You already know this is discomfort. I learned a lot of things about myself this year and I learned like don't settle for the least. Go for the top. And if you happen to get the top, that's powerful. But you will be miserable at the bottom when you know you were created to be at the top.

8:22 These are not coincidences. They are confirmation. Why is this separation so important? Because it's being mentioned over and over and over again. This is going to get you ready. So you won't feel strange when it starts to happen in your life. Sometimes he separates us for our protection. God removes people who will harm your destiny, who don't have the right heart that's around you. They're smiling and they're friendly, but they're not really for you. He separates us for clarity. Your vision sharpens when distractions fall away. When your voice, when you're praying to God, and the only voice that you're hearing is the Lord's voice and not your friends, you get more clarity.

9:04 For purity, God demands holiness. So if he's calling you out of your sinful life, out of your fornication, out of your adulterous behavior, he's calling you in for purity. Do it on your own. Do not allow God to embarrass you. For your preparation, you cannot carry 2026 glory with 2025 bondage. So get ready to let 2025 go. Whatever it was, that's what it is. You can't change it. Let it go. Let's run into 2026. And number five, for your promotion. Elevation always requires a separation. And we know the story of Abraham.

9:45 Abraham, God told him to leave, go to a land I will show you. and he drags along Lot. And throughout his story, Lot was just a headache. Look how many distractions Lot caused. You know, he caused a lot of distractions because he was never meant to be there. So be careful who you drag into your 2026 when God's telling you to let it go. When we come into a time where we need to be, it's like packing light. You need to pack light so that when God tells you to go, you can go. You don't have to tell the story. You don't have to take someone you got to always babysit. Be worried about their emotions, their financial situation. Let God do what he does. Let him separate. And you'll be surprised that as he separates you from what you can't on your own, you will see that you'll start to feel like, dang, that person was awake.

10:36 I didn't realize it because I couldn't let him go on my own, him or her or your family members. So how do we respond when God starts to separate us? Number one, stop resisting. Don't fight for what God is removing. Release without resentment. Let people go without bitterness. embrace holiness, walk in purity without apology, stay in alignment. Separation flows from alignment. Strengthen your discernment. You need to sharpen your hearing to recognize who is for you and who is assigned against you. And then number six, remain humble. Separation is for sanctification, not superiority because where God promotes you and if you get the we call it in America the big head you get a little bit beside yourself you might lose that promotion right and I don't know how old you are but you don't got 40 years to make that back up so remain humble.

11:36 And don't get into the superiority or they call it the caring attitude. You know, always nitpicking and starting stuff because you're in that promotion, you know, looking down upon others. You know, just a lot of things happen when people get promoted, you know, so don't do that. And let's go ahead with this prophetic decree. I repeat after me. Father, draw every divine line in my life. Separate me from darkness, deception, and distraction. Set me apart for your purpose. Cut off what cannot go into 2026. Highlight what is holy, expose what is false, and prepare me for glory. In Jesus' name, amen. Let's pray.

12:18 I thank you for the holy separation of 5786. Thank you for dividing light from darkness in our lives and in this generation. Give us the courage to release what you are removing and the faith to embrace what you are revealing. Protect us, purify us, and position us. Let the separation prepare us for your glory.
