1:00 Welcome, welcome to the Diary of a Black Woman podcast. I'm your host, Connie Morris, and I want to welcome you to 2026. I know it's December and it's still 2025, but based on the Hebrew calendar. 2026 started in September. So we are a little bit behind. So I don't know if you're the kind of person that wait until the last minute, like December 31st, to see what God has for you for the next year. Or you're like me who want to know what to expect when that clock hits 12 and just begin to work my faith towards what the word of the Lord is doing and what he is saying.

1:42 This year of 2026, the title of the series is The Year When Heaven and Earth Intersect. that means God is coming down. Heaven and earth intersect. We're going to talk about when heaven and earth intersects, it's not a quiet moment. It's an explosive moment. And so I just have this feeling in my heart that God is going to do something big beyond what we can even ask or think. But we must be prepared for what he's doing. Because if he's hitting earth, that means some bad things got to go and some good things going to have to come out. Am I right? And so I want to take my time and I have, The series is going to take us into January, but I'm going to pace it so that you can grab hold of it every time there's a new download and get ready for what God has for you.

2:32 I also want to thank you all for a wonderful, wonderful 2025 season. The downloads are coming really fast and heavy, sometimes slow, sometimes fast, but I'm not doing it for show. I'm doing it for we can grow. Amen. I want everyone to grow. And so my topics may seem off, but these are what God is talking to me about. So as a teacher, my spiritual gift as a teacher, I see things differently. I see it as a teaching moment. You know, we have the prophetic and then we have the pastor. We have the apostle. You know, we have the evangelist. And each one approached the word in a different way. I myself is a teacher and I'm always looking for how can I take the word of God, put it in bite-sized chunks, and let you and let the Holy Spirit just mature it inside of you. It's like a seasoning.

3:27 So by the end of 2026, that your life will be different. But we don't have to wait to the end of the year. We can actually start right now. And that is what I am going to do. And so like I said, it's 2026, the year when heaven and earth intersect. This is It's a very long devotional. So it's very detailed. It's very good. It's like a teacher would write a manual for the year. This is, I call it the year. This is a manual that I have recreated for 2026. And so, like I said, it'll be available for your download. But you know, a lot of people don't read. So I believe you'll get more out of it if you read it, but I want to get started. So let's go.

4:12 So like I said, I'm your host Connie Morris and I welcome all new listeners. And every year I have something special. I usually have something for Christmas. If you want to hear what I spoke last Christmas, it was powerful. And I might rebroadcast it again this year, but this year it's different. A lot of many times, if you stay prayed up and prayed up, me, you have a daily prayer life and you read in your Bible, God is always talking. He always has something new to share with you. And so I don't believe in reruns, but last year, sir, last year was powerful. It was powerful. So if you want to go ahead and find the Christmas podcast from last year, you will enjoy it.

4:57 But this year will not be a Christmas podcast unless God changes something. But right now we're going to set our heart for 2026. You know, as I was thinking about this and I've done a lot of talking just to set it up is the anointing that God has placed on the inside of each one of us is about to go to another level. So if you have been faithful to God, if you have been doing what God's asked you to do, even when it was hard, get ready. Get ready for your breakthrough. If you're new to the podcast system. New to my voice, still, I want you to get ready. And that's why I'm having this series start early so that we all can get ready.

5:41 Many times when I write these, it always sounds better once I podcast it. And every so often and many times, more times than none, the Holy Spirit will show up and add something extra to it. And so we're going to just keep our hearts open in case the Holy Ghost has something he wants to add or say or any examples that will hit home for you. So once again, let's get started. I'm your host Connie Morris and I want to welcome you into what I believe is one of the most prophetic, timely, spiritually urgent conversations we will have as we prepare for this year ahead. 2026 is not another year on the calendar. It is a divine appointment, A year marked by shaking, shifting, and supernatural glory.

6:31 A year where God steps into time, shifts the atmosphere, and reveals what cannot be shaken. Heaven is leaning in, earth is responding, and God is calling his people to stand, to listen, and to prepare. Scripture tells us in Hebrews chapter 12, verses 26 to 27, that God promises, yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens. This shaking does not come to destroy us. It comes to reveal what is shakable. It exposes what was built on sand and strengthens what was built on the rock.

7:12 In Matthew 25, Jesus warns us to stay awake, to stay filled, and to stay ready. Matthew 25 talks about the foolish version and the wise version. They both had to wait. The foolish one was not prepared for the long wait, but the wise one carried extra oil. So this year, I want you to be ready with extra oil. What does extra oil mean to you? Have you been sleeping in past your prayer time? Have you been skipping out on doing what the Bible says or spending quiet time with God? Don't you miss that divine moment? The divine moment will come to those who are ready. In Psalms 91, he promises protection for those who dwell in the secret place.

7:58 You get a chance. I want you to read Psalms 91. To read Matthew 25, read all of it because it talks about the talent, the foolish versions. It talks about what God is looking for when he returns. Psalms 91 is everything else, your protection, your shield, and what he's going to do to the enemy, what he's going to promise you, long life, he says in Psalms 91. He also says, he who dwells in the secret place. So if you're dwelling in that secret place, you can expect God to tell you some secrets. Amen. And in Isaiah 43, he tells us, forget the former things. Behold, I am doing a new thing. I know, ladies, we like new things, don't we?

8:41 But we have to prepare for those new things. Because when God says new, he don't mean old hand-me-down anointing. He's talking about something new. So be prepared this year to step out of your comfort zone to do what God has for you to do. When we think about Matthew 25, Psalms 91, Isaiah 43, these scriptures converge into one prophetic announcement. Heaven and earth are about to meet and God wants you prepared. When I think about this, I think about Moses on Mount Sinai. When God showed up, he showed up in his whole glory. and what happened that mountain shook but he didn't show up and step on any type of rocks. He brought the whole heaven with him.

9:27 He brought the shiny, pearly, sapphiary floor because God is all that. And so he didn't come. Our ladies, we pack and we plan our events or we plan to travel. We pack those just-in-case clothes. We want just in case we got to do this, just in case we need to go there. We come prepared when we pack. And sometimes it's considered overpacking. But if anything was to go, hey, we have it there. We are ready for whatever. So when God showed up on that Mount Sinai, he showed up in his magnificent glory. And he had told the people, the Israelites, the children of Israel, he told them, he said, don't you come near this mountain or you will die.

10:13 Come on now. He said, don't you come. If you ain't ready, don't you even come up here. Don't even get close to the mountain. He's at the top of the mountain. telling the people at the bottom, don't you come. But yet he said, Moses, I need to see you. Isn't that powerful? He said, Moses, I need to see you. Whatever your name is, I need you to say, my name is Connie. When God says that, Connie, I need to see you. You're coming up that mountain fast and furious. You're not going to delay. Why? Because you've been waiting for this time. You've been waiting for God to touch heaven. You've been waiting for God to touch your life. You've been waiting on this for a long time. I don't know about you, but I've been standing on Jeremiah 29, 11 through 14, which is, as you can see, the outro for most of my podcast, because that's the scripture that says, when you search for me with all your heart, he says, I will be found by you.

11:10 So I'm excited. So this season, we will walk through what heaven is revealing in 2026. Why the shaking is necessary. We're going to find out why it's necessary. Because a lot of times we have things around us that are not really for you. And when God shakes them away, which he is, and as you get closer to him, certain things got to go. Remember, Moses came up the mountain. He didn't bring nobody. I think he brought Aaron halfway, but they couldn't go all the way. There's only certain places in this year, this season, that you have to go all the way. And sometimes you're going to have to do that by yourself.

11:50 It tells us we're going to walk through what God is removing and what he is establishing and how you can position yourself spiritually, mentally, emotionally to stand firm. Because if God starts to shake things and you're too attached to some things, I'm saying you might have to let that go or you're going to be rolling with your stuff. He says you will not be bracing alone. Brace for impact is the theme too. God wants you to hold on to him. You will be bracing with God, holding onto the unshakable cross rooted in his unchanging word. So as we begin this season, I want you to listen with your spirit, not with your ears.

12:31 Let these messages draw you closer to God. Sharpen your discernment, strengthen your resolve, and ignite your hunger for his presence. Because when heaven and earth intersect, nothing stays the same. But those who stand with God stand strong. Welcome to the journey. Let's begin. The Hebrew year is considered a number. It's 5, 7, 8, 6. And it's titled for this moment. It says, what God is saying. What is God saying for this year of 5, 6? In the Hebrew calendar, 2026 aligns with the year 5, 7, 8, 6. And the Hebrew meaning gives depth and clarity to what God is doing.

13:15 5-7-8-6 carries a prophetic meaning of a boundary or a border place, crossing a sacred threshold, the place where heaven steps into earth or onto earth, divine interruption. God drawing a line in the sand, and the border between shaking and glory. This year is not random. It is scheduled by heaven. In Hebrew imagery, 5, 7, 8, 6 represent the moment when what was hidden becomes revealed. What was unstable, what was unstable, collapses. What is holy becomes distinguished.

13:57 What is unshakable begins to rise. What is divine intersects with what is earthly. It is a place where God steps in, not quietly, but forcefully. Remember, God is not aggressive in his approach, but I believe he is just as excited as we are to have that moment of when he wants to touch our lives in a different way. Many times when we experience God, some of us experience it at different levels. Sometimes we have these great emotional encounters with the Lord and we know we've been changed. And sometimes we're walking through a process of change and it doesn't always look like we're going anywhere.

14:40 But God says you are going anywhere. As long as you are moving forward towards me and not looking back, this is a chance where you will have an encounter with the Lord. The collision of heaven and earth. When the Lord spoke that 2026 would be the year when heaven and earth intersect. He was speaking from his heaven, from his Hebrew reality. We are approaching a divine boundary, a spiritual border where everything changes. This collision means heaven will provoke movement on earth. God's glory will challenge man-made systems. The spiritual realm will interrupt the natural realm.

15:23 The earth will tremble under God's voice, and people will have to choose sides, and the remnant will rise with clarity and boldness. The Hebrew year 5, 7, 8, 6 describes a moment when God refuses to be ignored. Every scripture the Lord highlights aligns with the Hebrew meaning. Let's look. Hebrews 12, 26 and 27. The shaking. This reveals the boundary moment. God shakes both realms, leaving only the eternal. What would that look like for you when God begins to shake, shake you, shake everything around you?

16:05 He had to do that for me in many places to separate me from people who were not for me. He moved me to Nebraska and I'm still figuring out why I'm in Nebraska. It's not like it's a summer place. Right now we're going through winter, right? And so we're still searching like, girl, you moved me here. I moved fast and I was like, I'm ready to go. I get here. Things, you think things will be good in your land? Well, sometimes it's not. It's some things you have to conquer in your new land. So don't be afraid. Let's look at Matthew 25 verses 1 through 13. It says the wise and the foolish version.

16:46 God spoke about drawing a line. Are you wise or are you foolish? This reveals a threshold. Only those with oil can cross into what God is doing next. Oil, the anointing oil, you're going to need it. Isaiah 43, 18 to 19 says, Behold, I do a new thing. This reveals the crossing. You cannot step into 5786 while holding on to 5785. You can't go forward looking back. Remember last one. You can't go forward. Even when Elisha was called by Elijah. He can't keep going forward while he was someone with the oxes, he had to let that go and go follow Elijah, right?

17:31 Elijah, he had to go follow Elijah. So when God says, I'm doing a new thing, that means the old have passed away. You have to let it go. And so I started this series early so you can begin to figure out what is God telling you to let go. In Psalms 91, it says, for the prepared, this reveals a covering for those who dwell in the secret place during the shaking. So the shaking is going to be a place where he's shaking physically, emotionally, spiritually. Is this going to be a shaking? Because why? Because when God shows up, everything shakes. Why are we nervous, right? If you're on the right side of the line, then you don't have nothing to worry about.

18:12 And then Hebrews 10, 39 said, we are not of those who shrink back. This reveals a separation. 5, 7, 8, 6 divides the bold from the fearful. So God is saying, get ready, get ready. I'm coming. It's going to be some shaking because when I show up, things do shake. It says in the Bible, not that they want to, but they will bow. So it's going to be a lot of things shaking, a lot of bowing going on because King of Kings and the Lord of Lords is coming our way. He has to come our way. Why? Because we're getting really close to the time where Jesus is coming. And so he's a winner. God is a winner. So he got to prepare his team for the fight. So get ready.

18:57 So what is God really saying about 2026? When you combine the Hebrew meaning, the prophetic scripture, and the global spiritual climate, God's message becomes unmistakable. Prepare for the collision. Prepare for the crossing. Prepare for the shaking and the glory. Every time we read in the Bible, we know Joshua had to cross the River Jordan. We know Moses had to cross the Red Sea. There's always a crossing. Elijah had to cross back over the Jordan. There's always a crossing. There's always a movement when God shows up, you know. So 5, 7, 8, 6 marks a place where some things will end.

19:38 What are you so comfortable with that if God decides to take it away or tell you to let it go, what would you do? Other things will begin. Necessary endings, new beginnings. And everything built on sand will crumble so that everything built on Christ will stand. So what does this mean for you? What does this mean for you? God is calling his people to stay awake. Stay awake. Not that you lose sleep, but be alert to what's going on. Because I tell you, God can come big or he can come in small. But he says this year is when he's going to hit the earth. So think about it. When God starts to move, you better keep up.

20:21 Stay filled. Stay filled with the Holy Ghost. Find Your prayer time, if you're praying in your most holy language, pray more. Pray more so you can be ready, so you can be sensitive to what he's doing. Stay steady. Don't be wishy-washy. Go forward. Go all the way in or get out the way. Stay anchored. Stay obedient. Stay connected. And stay in position because God is about to touch earth for the first time in history. It's not the first time in our history. You know, we weren't around when Acts Church was going on, right? God says, I'm about to touch earth this time. Wow. The Acts Church. Think what happened in Acts Church? Maybe you should study that.

21:03 When God touched earth, he filled his people with the Holy Spirit And the Holy Spirit did not come quietly. Amen. So you are not entering a normal year. You are entering a prophetic threshold year. Threshold, that means there's something you have to cross. It's a crossing. It's a changing. It's a shifting. If we look back through our lives, we can tell when we made that major change, right? And so get ready for something major to happen in your life. So declare this with me out loud. Father, I step into the Hebrew year 5-7-8-6 with faith and expectation. I cross the threshold with boldness. Let every shaking bring alignment.

21:48 Let every intersection reveal your glory. I am anchored. I am awake. I am prepared. And I will walk confidently into the year when heaven and earth collide. Let's pray. Lord, thank you for revealing the prophetic meaning of 5786. Thank you for preparing us for the boundary, the threshold, the shaking, and the glory. Strengthen every believer to stand unshaken, unmoved, unwavering. Let your voice lead us. Let your glory cover us. And let your purpose be fulfilled in us. In Jesus' name, amen.
