0:49 This is holy ground. In Jesus' name, amen. Hello, and welcome back to Diary of a Black Woman podcast. I'm your host, Connie Morris, and I am very happy to introduce to you a new series. It's titled hard reset, God's about to hit refresh on the whole planet. And this time his glory is leading the update. How powerful is that? God is about to hit refresh on the whole planet. And this time his glory is leading the way. Now, I don't know what to say, but I know that all this drama and trauma that we're seeing in the news can only be birth pains for what God wants to bring in.

1:36 It's his glory. Are you ready? And so this is a two-part series. The first part is about seven episodes. The second part is going to get a little bit more deeper. I'm not going to say a little, a lot more deeper. It's going to require you to bring out your Bible and it's going to bring into a little bit more prayer time. You're going to need to know a little bit more on what God is doing. So I want to set this up very lightly. But then I'm going to go a little bit deeper because we need to get ready for God's glory. And we expect his return, right? But before he comes in his big return, I just have a feeling that he's going to show us what heaven on earth looks like.

2:21 But he has to prepare his church for this. And so a lot of the things that are happening right now, if you look around the world, and we got some things that we have never seen before. The world is shaking in every dimension and he is just getting started. And so I want to go through an introduction. We'll go through episode one today, if it doesn't go too long, and then we'll continue this episode. And then we're going to do part two of Heart Reset. And Heart Reset part two is going to probably begin shortly after we end with part one. So let's just get started and see where it goes. Thank you for joining me on the Diary of Black Women podcast.

So sometimes the way we fix a broken system is to shut it down completely and start over from scratch. In the world of technology, a hard reset isn't a light decision. It's what you do when everything is corrupted, frozen, or completely out of alignment. You press to hold the power button. And what happens when we do that, it also, it resets the system, right?

3:53 To what's not working. And it restores the system to its original intent. And many have done that on our laptops, on our work. Our tabletop computers, and even on any type of computerized device. And we know that that gives it a total reset. And many will do a total reset if we go to a total restore, if we want to turn it back in and maybe get a discount on another product, but we set it back to new, right? And God is nothing new when he does that, right? We know that God knows how to do a total reset. Does that ever sound familiar to you that he's done that before in the Bible?

4:36 From the chaos in Noah's day to the spiritual drought before Pentecost, God has always stepped in to reset creation when it drifts too far from his design. Now check it out. Has we, as the people of the world, drifted too far from his design? The flood was a reset. The fire of the Holy Spirit was a reset. And now, as the world spins faster into confusion, compromise, and moral collapse, another divine reset is on the horizon. But this time, it's not going to be by water. It's not going to be by fire. It's going to be by his glory. His glory is going to fill the earth just as the waters of Noah days did, just as the fire of the Holy Spirit did, but at a greater, greater, greater, greater value.

5:28 Do you believe that? God is not only about purging the chaos. He's preparing to pour out his presence in a way the earth has never seen. This isn't about doom and destruction. It's about restoration, revival, and reclaiming what was always his. I want you to get ready. The higher reset is not just coming. It has already begun. You know, we've searched or we have reached a moment in history where the noise is louder than truth. Systems are failing faster than they are being fixed. The hearts are growing cold while headlines are growing darker.

6:09 You could feel it that something is off. It's as if the whole world is glitching. But God doesn't panic. He resets. The devotional isn't about fear. It's about focus. It's about recognizing the signs, understanding God's track record, and preparing for what's next. From Noah's Ark to the upper room, God has always used divine disruptions to realign his people and to reintroduce his presence. Now we're standing at the edge of another holy interruption. And this time, it's not just judgment, it's his glory.

6:50 I just had this vision of God standing on the edge of the earth. And we don't really have edges because the earth is pretty much a spear and it's round. but think of him standing on one of the round of the spear and he's waiting to come in. He's waiting to just do what he do best to show up in his glory. So if you've been feeling something different, like what is going on, feeling the pull, the pressure, the prompting to unplug from the chaos and to reconnect with heaven, heaven, this is your confirmation. God is about to hit refresh. Let's make sure that we're ready when he does. Amen.

7:32 So God is about to hit refresh. I want to continue with our episode. I like to call these day one because I call them episodes. That's good, but we're going to end up with day one. The title for, I call them devotionals because it's coming from my devotionals, but this is our hard reset series. And this title is When Everything Freezes, Recognizing the Glitch. Now, I want to just take a pause here because I don't know about you, but it seems like things are happening in the world that's on a glitch, right? You know, we know power has been going out, floods happening in strange, diverse places, earthquakes in diverse places.

8:18 Tsunami, I can't say that, like these alarms going off underground where waves can come at about many feet high to destroy land that are pretty much below sea level, like Hawaii, you know, and California, those places. And so we're standing on alert and we're wondering like, what is really happening? It takes you back to the days of Noah. No one believed that it would rain because before Noah, there wasn't any rain. But God is telling us it's time for a reset. You got to think about the creator of heaven and earth. He created an earth, a beautiful earth. If you travel the world, you know that it's beautiful.

9:02 There's some beautiful things to see in the earth, but yet we have a lot of sin and corruption and just, I call, I label it under drama, a lot of drama that we're dealing with. I like to call them, instead of saying drama, a lot of glitches in the system. And how do we fix the glitches in the system? We fix it by a reset. I fix it by a reset. Remember, he created everything. He said, you know what? It's time for a hard reset. So one example I want to share with you was found in Genesis 6, verses 11 through 13, our foundation of scripture. And it reads, now the earth was corrupt in God's sight and was full of violence.

9:44 So God said to Noah, I am going to put an end to all people. For the earth is filled with violence because of them. And I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. Now you have to be very upset to create something that you said was very good in Genesis 1, chapter, I don't know if it was Genesis 1, 1 through 3. And then to say in Genesis 6, I'm going to destroy both them and the earth, the men, the people, and the earth. I'm going to destroy it all. I'm going to do a hard reset. I'm going to fix that. But we know God made a promise that he would never do that again. So he sent us the rainbow.

10:29 So we're looking at all the floods and the destruction of the earth and we're wondering like, Lord, you said you wouldn't do that to us again. He hasn't destroyed the whole earth. Some sections are being destroyed, but do we know if that's man-made? You know, his man trying to destroy itself and blame it on God. So if you ever had your phone or computer freeze up completely, you know the feeling. Buttons won't respond. Screens won't update. And no matter how many times you click it, nothing changes. It's not just slow. It's stuck. That's what the world looks like to God in Noah's day. Stuck in a loop of sin, rebellion, and violence.

11:10 The system were corrupted. The people were corrupted, and the only solution was a hard reset. Noah didn't cause the reset, but he was chosen to survive it. While others mocked, ignored, and scrolled through life unaware, Noah listened. He heard the divine warning and made room for obedience, even when the skies were still clear. Maybe nothing has happened in your life. Maybe you happened to live in a place where you were free from floods and storms and tornadoes and all the things that were happening. But Noah was given a strategic plan on how to survive God's wrath that was coming to the earth, and he obeyed it when it didn't even look like it was going to be rain.

12:00 The sky was clear, and that's something. It looked great. It was a good, beautiful day. Remember, he testified for 125 years, 120 years, and it never rained. But on that day, it started to rain. So fast forward today. Hey, corruption isn't new, but the level of confusion and moral decay we're seeing has reached a full system crash. God doesn't just sit back and watch. He moves. And just like he did with Noah, he's calling his people to prepare, not panic, but on purpose. You're not just living in a chaotic time. You're being positioned in a prophetic one. This first step in the hard reset isn't about avoiding destruction.

12:47 It's about aligning with divine instruction. God isn't trying to scare you. He's inviting you to build before the rain falls. Some questions to reflect on. What areas of your life feel frozen or out of alignment with God's plan? I love the reflection questions because many times people say, well, she can't be talking to me. My life is good. Sometimes these reflection questions require you to go a little bit deeper. The question is, what areas of your life feels frozen? Where do you feel stuck or out of alignment with God's plan? Number two, are you more focused on the chaos around you or the call of God within you?

13:31 Number three, if God told you to start building today, what would your ark look like? Let's pray. Father, I see the brokenness around me and I don't want to be blind to your voice in the middle of it. Teach me to listen like Noah. Make me sensitive to your warnings and bold enough to obey, even when no one else sees the storm. Align my life with your plan and help me to be a part of your reset, not swept away by it. In Jesus' name, amen. And decree for this. Day one of our devotional, recognizing the glitch, I decree that I am not afraid of the shaking.

14:13 The noise will not move me. I will hear God clearly and obey Him fully. I am part of the reset, not a casualty of the crash. In Jesus' name, amen. And I'll see you on the next episode.
