49 This is holy ground. In Jesus' name, amen. Welcome back to Diary of a Black Woman podcast. We are on day 12 of the Walls Must Fall series, a 12-day Jericho fast of consecration and dedication. Today's title is live the promise, sustain obedience after the breakthrough. Our key scriptures are found in Joshua, of course. And the first one is Joshua 21, verse 45. And it reads, not all, not one of all the Lord's good promises of Israel fail. Everyone was fulfilled.
29 Now that's good news to know that not one of the Lord's promises to Israel fell. Everyone was fulfilled. So that gives us already excitement because we know the end of the story. Let's go to Joshua 1.7. It says, Be careful to obey all the laws. Do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. So we learn here that God says, Be careful to obey all the laws. Do not turn from it to the right or to the left. Just keep focused on my word and you'll be successful for wherever you go.
11 The walls have fallen. The enemy has scattered. The fast is coming to a close, but your obedience must continue. This is where many fall off. They shout on day seven, rejoice on day eight, but by day 12, They slowly slip back into old patterns. But you, not you, you're not just fasting for a moment. You're fasting for a new lifestyle. God didn't bring you this far to go back. He's calling you to live the promise, not just taste it. Sustained breakthrough requires sustained alignment and sustained obedience. God wants you to walk in purpose and holiness in vision.
56 The fast was your Jericho, but there are other lands to take, battles to win, and blessings to carry. This is just the beginning. Don't stop praying, don't stop consecrating, and don't stop dedicating. Live the promise. This is so encouraging because if you made it this far, I'm quite sure that God has already answered many of your prayers. You have seen some victory. Walls have fallen. The enemy is backing off of you. But you have to sustain your victory. We talked about that in the last episode. You have to occupy the land.
38 You have to embrace your authority. You know you bad, you made it. And so don't stop what you've done. Have a way that if you can't do a 12-day fast. Find a way that you can maintain that consecration and dedication with God, putting him first, you know, so that you can live out the promises and all the things that he has for you. Let's pray. Lord, thank you for every wall that has fallen during these last 12 days. I don't just receive the promise. I commit to living it out. Give me wisdom to walk with you daily. make this fast produce lasting fruit in my life, some 30, some 60, some 100 fold.
20 And I dedicate my step beyond this day, every step beyond this day to you. And I give you praise for it in Jesus name. Amen. Our decree, I decree that I live the promise. I will not return to bondage. I walk in freedom, authority, and divine purpose. My fast was not in vain. I am set apart, sealed by obedience, and led by the Spirit. I walk this out by faith. Galatians 5.1 reads, It is for the freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm then. And in one translation it says, Get free, stay free. I love that. Get free, stay free. So what is our final fasting focus for our day 12?
05 So as you close this fast, you want to end it always in like a celebratory with gratitude. right? Counting each day is like a major breakthrough. Worship prayer and definitely you want to have a communion to seal it. To break the fast from food, make sure you follow the right protocols. So do it gradually and prayerfully. So don't, if you did a hard, whatever you did, make sure you follow the right protocol. Don't suddenly start eating. You know, meet after you had nothing but water. But if you did any other way, you know, follow protocol, use wisdom. And after this, why don't you consider like something regular, like a fasting, a regular weekly or monthly to remain in the state of consecration.
49 Remember I told you, it's not about the food. It's about the intimacy with God. This is not the end of your spiritual journey. This is just the beginning. Amen. What are you writing your journal? I would actually go back through my journal today and I would just read all the notes that I read, all the notes, what I wrote and see what God is doing over the last 12 days. That would be just the best thing you can do. And then I will go back through the series, this 12 day series, and find out which one of those that I kind of brush through that I need to go back and listen to again. So go back and listen to The Walls Must Fall, like pick one that you said, dang, that was a hard one. I need to go listen to that one again.
35 And then follow the journal prompts in that one. Remember this relationship with God, it's always a consecration and dedication. It never stops. And then finally, What commitments will I continue to keep so I remain aligned with life of obedience and promises? You've already set up some ways that you want to do. Try to continue the way that you have been. What did you do differently? Where did you fall off? Don't be hard on yourself. Find a way to get, find a way that, this is a relationship, right? And our relationship comes with little ups, downs, and all arounds. So don't beat yourself up. Say, hey, I messed up on day six.
18 What was day six? What did we learn on day six? I go back, day six, I can pull up the day six. It says endure the process. Oh my gosh, that was a hard one for me. And so go back and just listen to that again and find out where did I fall off on endure the process or any other of the walls must fall series, right? Any of those days that was a hard one, you know? And maybe start all over from the beginning and do it again. You know, that's really up to you. Your relationship with God is your relationship with God. There's nothing that you have to compare or contrast with anybody else. And I guarantee you that it's always changing. It's always evolving because our hearts, if we continue to want to obey, not want to obey, continue to obey God.
07 To follow his whispers and to just shout before the walls fall down, Burn bridges, renew our covenant, and just stay fresh before God. I guarantee you, it's all going to be good. It's all going to be good. I do have a couple more episodes with some finalizing episodes. That's going to include some decrees and just a final charge to get you, send you off on this fast of consecration, dedication with power and with focus. But I wanted to make this last episode short so that you can spend some time just sitting in God's presence and just thanking him for like you made it.
47 You made it through the 12-day fast. You made it through consecration dedication. And I guarantee your life will not be the same. So I'll see you at the final charge at the next episode. Goodbye. Thank you for listening to this episode. And before we close out, I want to speak a word of promise over you from Jeremiah 29, 11 through 14. Father God, you declared, I know the plans I have for you. plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. So today we receive that truth. You said when we call on you, you will listen. So we pray.
30 You said that when we seek you with our hearts, you will be found. So we pursue. You said you will restore us from captivity. So we declare freedom over every place where our listeners feel stuck, silenced, or small. Thank you for always drawing near when we show up in faith. In Jesus' name, amen. Music.
